In July 2024, I was the only high-school student selected, out of 700 applicants, for New Uzbekistan University’s Summer School in Economics: twelve days of lectures by professors from top universities, and a group research paper.

Where I found my interest in economics

In the summer of 2024, I was accepted as the only high-school student among 700 applicants to participate in the Summer School in Economics that was organized by New Uzbekistan University, where professors from top universities came to give lectures. We divided into groups and developed a research paper in these 12 days, 60 hours. I met with many professors and had a huge network with others as other people were PhD students, professors at the universities, undergraduate students, etc. During the program, I found my interest in economics and strengthened my knowledge in economics.
